It would’ve been nice to have accessibility to the other software specific to pc’s perhaps this will be an option in the future. Its portability allows me to move from one computer to another with simplicity and ease and it’s always ready to get to work. Write times do vary but whether writing a cd or dvd took minimal time to complete from start to finish.
With this device the simple plug and play functionality made getting started very simple. However, that didn’t limit my ability to take advantage of its capabilities. In my case it wasn’t accessible with my computer that isn’t a PC. This device does come with additional software for PC computers. Connection is very simple as there is only one usb cable needed to connect to the computer that it is being used with. The LG slim portable dvd writer is a great device.
